Theory – Two ways to write the same idea

We can describe places and people in two different ways:

Way 1 – The + noun + is + adjective

The city is beautiful.

The park is big.

Way 2 – Noun + is a/an + adjective + noun

Paris is a beautiful city.

Fido is a big dog.
